Sprint

A sprint is a work section in the Scrum method in which an increment (executable version) of a product functionality is implemented. The aim of a sprint is to implement the requirements defined in the sprint backlog in such a way that a basically executable increment is available at the end of the sprint.

During a sprint, no changes are allowed that affect the sprint target. It is characteristic for Scrum that sprints have a fixed duration of two to four weeks.
